The sculpture Rain Arrow is featured in the circle drive to the Gilcrease Museum. The Gilcrease Museum is truly a national treasure of art and artifacts.

Although he had little formal education, he was learned in business. He developed a keen artistic sense as well
Thomas Gilcrease was a Native American (Creek), who made millions of dollars in the petroleum industry. His passion was collecting American art that depicted the West and Native Americans. He started the Gilcrease Foundation to perpetuate this collection.
Today, the citizens of Tulsa and nearby areas benefit from his foresight.
Only a small part of the collection is on display; many artifacts are in drawers.
Many of these effigies come from Central and South America.
Bird and mammal effigies on display.
The Kravis Discovery Center houses a collection of artifacts from the Americas.

Pipestone Quarry (George Catlin)
Catlinite (the pipestone that was mined in southwestern Minnesota) was named after George Catlin.
