The Graduate College provides a day-long orientation prior to Fall semester for all new graduate students. The fall orientation not only includes sessions on policies and procedures but also sessions on navigating the graduate school experience. Although attendance for the Graduate Assistant Orientation is not required, it is highly recommended.
Teaching Assistant Orientation
The Graduate College provides an orientation prior to the Fall semester for all new and returning graduate teaching assistants. The orientations are designed to provide students with information relevant to their academic role as well as graduate assistantship responsibilities. All new teaching assistants are required to attend this orientation. Attendance for returning graduate teaching assistants is recommended but optional.
