of the
SMSU Centennial! |
|

During the academic year 2004-05, SMSU celebrates
its Centennial
with a variety of events for students, faculty,
staff, and alumni - all
guided by the Centennial theme
Daring to Excel.
Activities throughout
the year include a student kickoff in August and a community
event in
September with a concert and ice cream
social
featuring
local bands “Hogmolly” and “Big Smith.”
Plan now to attend Centennial Homecoming: 100 Years
of Magical Milestones on October
22-23. A Centennial Art Exhibition featuring artwork in juried
exhibition as well as archival material relating to the university is
planned for
early next year. Then to cap off the year’s events, SMSU
will sponsor an Inaugural Public Affairs Conference,
Celebrating the
Intellect, in April 2005.
This should be an
exciting year to be part of the SMSU community. For a complete list and for
up-to-date
information on events, please visit the
SMSU
Centennial Celebration calendar.

advertising? “I’m very competitive. And that’s why I’ve enjoyed Ad Team
so much because they show people what they know and what they can do.
And through the demonstration of their abilities it shows our
