Summer Brings a Variety
of Changes |
|

Ahh summer
time. A time to step back, regroup, re-energize and catch your breath a
bit. While that holds true and classes may be a little smaller and more
laid back, it’s still been a busy time in the SMSU Marketing Department.
Two new faculty members have been hired and a search for another faculty
member is under way. The department welcomes the addition of Mrs. April Babington as a secretary to the department. Plans for the upcoming
University name change impact departmental publications, website,
promotional materials, and email addresses. Staff members busily prepare
for that transition as well as changes brought about with a new
University administration.
Yes, business goes on. Faculty continue to teach and research. Students
fill the computer labs working on last minute summer projects. But
having said that, there’s still time for the much needed trip to the
lake, summer baseball game, work in the garden or round of golf. And
with the renewal that comes with summer, the SMSU faculty and staff will
come back ready to go for the 2005-06 academic year. |
