Office Assistants greet and assist customers and provide information about department activities and Missouri State University.  In Addition, Office Assistants perform general office duties such as answering telephone, taking messages or transferring calls, filing, and clerical work.

Position: Audio Visual Area Specialist

Audio Visual Crew members are responsible for setting up and monitoring the technical equipment in the building. It is important that the AV Crew staff is familiar with the building, its equipment, policies, programs, services and day to day schedule of events.

Position: Graphic Design Artist

Department: Office of Student Activities

Graphic Design Artists produce advertising campaigns for events sponsored by the Office of Student Activities, Student Activities Council, and Plaster Student Union through creating printed materials and ad layout.

Position: Group Fitness Instructor

Department: Campus Recreation

Fitness Instructors provide instruction to MSU students, faculty and staff in correct and safe aerobic utilizing exercises that incorporate a variety of teaching methods.

Position: Intramural Sports Official

Department: Campus Recreation

Intramural Sports Officials set up competition areas, officiate and control the pace of the game, and implement policies and procedures of the Intramural Sports program.

Position: Information Desk Area Specialist

Department: Plaster Student Union Building Services

Information Desk Specialists run the daily operations of the PSU Information Center, providing excellent service to our customers and a friendly greeting to all who enter. The Information Desk is responsible for lost & found, mail, emergency communications, and the public address system.

Position: Outdoor Adventures Trip Guide

Department: Campus Recreation

Trip Guides assist in planning and leading trips and instructional workshops, coordinating each activity in an efficient and professional manner.

Position: Games Center Area Specialist

Department: Plaster Student Union Building Services

Games Center Specialists run the daily operations of the PSU Games Center, caring for our facility and equipment while providing excellent service to our customers.  The Games Center provides bowling, billiards, table tennis, darts, music and a snack bar (beginning Fall 2008).

Position: House Crew Area Specialist

Department: Plaster Student Union Operations

House Crew members are responsible for setting up room arrangements. It is important that the House Crew staff is familiar with the building, its equipment, policies, programs, services and day to day schedule of events.
