Earn a master's degree in social work from
Missouri State University

  • You may:
    • Attend classes on the MSU Joplin campus saving travel time and money.
    • Enjoy flexible scheduling options for working adults.
    • Apply for the program even if your undergraduate degree is not in social work.
    • Earn this degree fully accredited by Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
    • Finish your degree in 2 years attending part-time as a student eligible for advanced standing.
    • Take advantage of opportunities for completing your practicum in Joplin and the surrounding area.
    • Secure employment in a field expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations, through 2016, according to U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Advanced standing students start Summer 2017.
Other students start Fall 2017.
